The pandemic forced education to shift from a physical to a digital model for the safety and well-being of our children. TOWN HALL Group of Schools have utilized this disruption as an opportunity to innovate by Introducing our specially designed ‘TOWN HALL Virtual Learning Pedagogy’ powered with a state-of-the-art digital Infrastructure and an online pedagogy developed with deep insights into child psychology across age groups.

In March 2020 when the world was brought to its heels due to the Corona Virus pandemic, teaching at Town Hall Group of Schools carried on as usual, albeit on virtual mode for all grades. The curriculum was entirely revamped overnight, to suit the virtual mode, with a huge team of Content Developers, Subject Matter experts and made age & grade appropriate.

The school insisted on the safety and security of the students on virtual mode too and as such immediately shifted to a dedicated App based Learning Management System with unparalleled student/parent interface. Teachers were comprehensively trained over to use the new platform and to deliver the Town Hall curriculum in virtual mode.

• Virtual Learning Sessions To get the feel of a normal classroom and to ensure experiential learning, apart from highly engaging virtual classes, virtual art and library, laboratory sessions have been included in the curriculum. This will ensure the all-round development of the students. It has ensured that when students cannot come to school, the school goes to the student.
• Assessments In order to ensure that academic objectives of the year were met, we have ensured that age and grade appropriate assessments for the Pre-Primary & Primary sections are regularly conducted as per the academic calendars and subjective pen & paper based assessments for the Secondary section. The academic achievements of our students was appropriately benchmarked and regualr Parent Teacher Meetings & counseling sessions to provide timely feedback.
• Virtual Sports and Arts– Not only the academic curriculum but also sports & arts classes  transferred seamlessly into the virtual mode, thereby ensuring that physical fitness and a healthy mind in a healthy body
• Extra Curricular Activities & Virtual Events – The highlight of school life are the events conducted all the year round. Townhall Group of schools organized a variety of  events replicated all the events in Virtual mode with active participation from our students. These included events like to special assemblies, Virtual Inter House/School Competitions, Festival Celebrations etc.
